SNL and Kids in the Hall

Last weekend, Saturday Night Live aired a great short featuring Andy Samberg and Ellen Page called “The Mirror” depicting a nightmare-within-a-nightmare scenario:
It reminded me of the classic Kids in the Hall sketch “The Pear Dream”:
I wonder if Samberg is a Kids in the Hall fan?
