The Northwest Division

“It’s been a long time, been a long time”… I really am a slacker when it comes to updates.  Sorry about that!  The truth of it all is that we took a bit of a break after our last show way back in August to go our separate ways, take some vacations, do other things, but now we’re back! 

We recently realized how fast the end of 2008 is approaching and how much we miss seeing you guys…. So to remedy that, we’ve booked a couple of shows and we hope you’ll come out and party with us one last time before the New Year.

This Saturday, Dec 6th, we’ll be stopping by The Silver Dollar to play a show with a great Newfoundland country soul band called Jetset Motel.  Opening the show will be a punk-country outfit called Luckyfool who will surely get things heated up in a hurry. 
Start time is 11pm.  If you can, please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank.  For our part, we’ll give you a FREE copy of our cd, Of Which I’m The Master, if you donate to the cause. 

On Thursday, Dec 11th, we’ll head down the highway to visit Hamilton.  This time we’ll be playing at a new venue called Touché (formerly 33 Hess).  If you’re around, stop by, if you have friends there, please spread the word.

And just so you know, we haven’t been doing nothing all this time.  In the past few weeks we’ve been rehearsing a lot and writing songs that will hopefully appear on our next record.  There isn’t a time frame for that yet, but if all goes well, we may get recording by late spring or early summer. 

Finally, with the holiday season fast approaching; please take care of yourselves and each other.  Donate to those less fortunate if you can!
